Andrew Murphy: Owner & Managing Director

Andrew has six years experience serving as Technical Director, splitting time between Mount Pearl Soccer Association and CBS Soccer (2016-2021). With over a decade of various coaching roles across NLSA provincial programs as well as Head Coach experience with the 2017 Men’s Canada Games Team, he has won three Atlantic Canadian titles coaching team NL and was the 2020 NLSA Coach of the Year. As a player, Andrew was an Atlantic University Sport champion with the Cape Breton Capers before going on to earn Challenge Cup All-Star defender honours five times across his senior career.

Jose Cobo-Reyes: Director of Soccer Operations

Jose is a UEFA A Licensed Coach equipped with a Master’s Degree in Football Management, Methodology and Analysis from the LaLiga Business School. Most recently serving as the San Fernando CD Academy Director of Coaches in Spain the past three years, he also has prior experience as a first team scout and U19 analyst with Real Valladolid (2019-2021) and as Real Jaen Academy Coach (2013-2018). He is currently in the process of completing his UEFA Pro Licence.

Sydney Walsh: Goalkeeper Academy Head Coach

Sydney offers one of the province's most decorated resumes as a goalkeeper. A five time AUS All-Star, three academic all-Canadian awards, MUN Female Athlete of the Year recognition and MUN Athletic Honour Society induction are just some of the accolades she earned during her time with the Seahawks. Sydney was also named top GK at the 2017 Canada Games while representing team NL.

Jan is the only coach in Newfoundland to hold a UEFA "A" Elite Youth License - https://www.uefa.com/news-media/news/0268-11f1ac36684b-121f231223be-1000--course-details-the-uefa-elite-youth-a-diploma/, making him likely the most certified coach to work with talented youth players here in Newfoundland.

 

 

Hannah Noseworthy: GK Academy Coach & SoccerFit Coach

Hannah has served on the sidelines for numerous NLSA sides including the 2022 Women’s Canada Games squad where she was Head GK coach as well as an assistant. She is a registered physiotherapist, holding a Bachelor's of Kinesiology(honours) and Masters of Physiotherapy degree all while acting as Assistant Coach with her alma mater (MUN Seahawks). As a goalkeeper, Hannah has won the Jubilee Trophy five times and is an Atlantic University Sport champion with the MUN Seahawks. At the club level, she helped the Holy Cross Crusaders to a 2022 Jubilee National championship.

Zoë Rowe: Leauge 1 - Guelph United

Zoë Rowe is one of NL’s most accomplished soccer players. A standout striker with Memorial University, she was named a U SPORTS First Team All-Star, a two-time AUS First Team All-Star, and the 2023 and 2024 Memorial University Female Athlete of the Year. She finished last season ranked second in goals and points nationally and is already third all-time in career goals at Memorial. Semi-Professionally, she has competed in League1 Ontario with Guelph United, scoring 10 goals last season and earning multiple Team of the Week honours, and was previously invited to trial with the Halifax Tides of the Northern Super League, Canada’s first women’s professional soccer league. Off the pitch, Zoë was recognized as a 5-time Academic All-Canadian and received the Michelle Healey Award for excellence in academics, athletics, leadership, and community service. Zoë holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry (Nutrition), a Master’s in Public Health and is currently pursuing a Medical Degree at Memorial.

Teri Murphy, Academy Coach

Teri is the assistant coach of the U17 Paradise Women's Tier I team and an accomplished Physical Education teacher. As a player, she is a two time national champion with the Holy Cross Crusaders (2022 & 2023) and earned both MUN Female MVP and AUS first team all-star honours during her time with the Seahawks. Other notable accomplishments include 2018 SportNL provincial Senior Female athlete of the year and induction into Memorial's Athletic Honours Society upon graduating in 2019.
