SUPER LEAGUE OVERVIEW:

Available to players ages Under 6 - Under 13 for the 2026 season. These leagues are all best suited to players that will be competing with Metro/Championship/Premier teams in 2026. 

 

Why Super League: The GC Super League has been created to provide more competitive opportunities to Newfoundland soccer players. Players often spend their entire indoor season without having played a competitive match! Without weekly competitive opportunities, players go in to their summer season unprepared for the technical and tactical demands that come from a match.

 

How the Super League will work: Each league will consist of four teams with matches 4v4. We have two fields in our facility, allowing players to play at the same time each week. We'll start with an assessment day so that we can ensure the four teams are balanced. All players will receive a jersey. Each team will have a coach guiding them through the season, helping them with their positioning and decision making. We'll keep score, have standings and will have playoffs at the end of the term. All matches will be recorded.

Location: Program at GC Sports Facility - 8 Panther Place, Mt Pearl. To get to 8 Panther, turn in to 10 Panther Place, drive to the back of the building, 8 Panther will be on the far side of the parking lot.

Boys Under 7 Super League - Saturdays 2:15 pm

Girls Under 7 Super League - Saturdays 3:15 pm

Boys Under 9 Super League - Saturdays 4:15 pm

Girls Under 9 Super League - Saturdays 5:15 pm

Boys Under 13 Super League - Saturdays 6:15 pm

Girls Under 13 Super League - Saturdays 7:15 pm

Girls Under 11 Super League - Sundays 2:30 pm

Boys Under 11 Super League - Sundays 3:30 pm

Cost: $410.00 tax included. ($23.50 plus tax per session + Cost of Jersey)

Class length: 1 hour

 

Spectators: While parents are welcome to briefly pop in during drop off/pick up, there's no room during the session for spectators. The entire floor is the playing field, so we can't fit in anyone besides players and coaches.

 

Drop off/Pick Up: Players can enter the facility no earlier than 5 minutes before the start of the session, this is to ensure the group before them is not disrupted. Activities will end 5 minutes before the hour so that they can get their things and are out of the building before the next group has started. 

 

Clothing required: Shin pads, soccer socks, regular soccer cleats or turf shoes, shorts and t-shirt.
